An island paradise since 2012
Established in 2012, Komodo Resort was the first resort built inside the protected boundaries of Komodo National Park. Situated on Sebayur Besar Island, approximately 18 km from Labuan Bajo, the resort was constructed with eco-friendly principles using local teak wood and bamboo to blend harmoniously with its surroundings.
Today the resort comprises 31 bungalows across seven room types, from beachfront retreats to the new hilltop Panorama View suites with 180-degree views over the park. Guests can choose from Full Board, Bed & Breakfast or Room Only rate plans, with meals prepared by Italian and Indonesian chefs and scheduled transfers included.
Komodo National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Home to the legendary Komodo dragon and some of the world's most biodiverse marine ecosystems, it is a destination like no other.

Our on-site dive center is operated by Neptune Scuba Diving and has been voted Indonesia's #1 Dive Resort by PADI Travel. With 13 boats, 10 PADI-certified instructors and a maximum 4:1 diver-to-guide ratio, every dive is safe, personal and unforgettable.
Over 50 dive sites are accessible from the resort, including Batu Bolong, Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, Manta Point, Shotgun, Siaba Besar, Tatawa Besar and Cannibal Rock. NITROX is available for extended bottom times.
The 1 km house reef is accessible directly from the beach. Turtles, reef sharks, manta rays, eagle rays, cuttlefish and pygmy seahorses are regular visitors among pristine hard and soft corals.
